Quinn hasn't always been a huge reader unless he is forced to by a teacher or a class. Although when he does get into a good book he usually sticks with it and reads it from front to back. Quinn has been reading since a young age, he grew up reading small children's book with his mother who was a teacher at the time. I have always thought that people read as a way to escape the real world and find a good use of time that promotes a healthy brain. To be a successful reader i believe that you need to be able to pace yourself and read at your own speed, not so fast that you don't absorb the content but not to slow that you aren't into the book and not enjoying it. Reading is made enjoyable when he is in a relaxing position so his brain can be the only thing functioning. He dislikes the length of time it takes to finish a good book. He doesn't read at home often unless it's for a class. He doesn't think reading is bad when the books he reads is interesting and fun.
Quinn doesn't enjoy writing very much because he can never write long enough for the assignment, he always seems to rush through it and doesn't add enough detail. People, including myself learn to write as small children and then learn how to formally write by a teacher or professor. Quinn thinks that people write because they have creative stories in their heads and somehow they need to express that creativity. People need to know what their story is going to be about, who the characters will be, and where the setting will be. Quinn likes to write informative pieces that need research and facts. Quinn never writes at home, he doesn't write stories and there is no need for him to do it at home if he doesn't need to. Generally Quinn doesn't really like writing very much.
